What is Together in Action?

It is the hope we have in Christ manifested in aid of others. It is we, the Catholics of Southern Alberta, working together to make Southern Alberta better for all its citizens. Out of the gifts given to us by the Lord, we give sacrificially to the benefit of others. Respond to the call with a donation, joining with your fellow parishioners, your fellow Catholics of Southern Alberta. Give sacrificially, act out your faith, join us Together in Action.

End of Life Care

Legitimating euthanasia or assisted suicide, which allows one person to kill another, would diminish respect for human life. It would also erode the basic trust that human life will be protected — a trust that is essential to the functioning of any society. Catholic Church continues to promote palliative and home care, and encourage all the faithful to work for the betterment of the elderly, the disabled, the ill, and those who are socially isolated.
