International Eucharistic Congress 2012
Pope Benedict XVI announced in June 2008 that the 50th International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) will take place in Ireland (June 10 to 17, 2012). While the main events will take place in Dublin, the Congress is intended to provide the whole Church (Ireland and beyond) with an opportunity to deepen our faith in the Eucharist and to explore ways to express this mystery in our lives. The main theme for IEC 2012 is “The Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with One Another.”
