Looking to grow in faith? Our resouces will help you understand Church teachings and examine current issues from a Catholic viewpoint. The Catholic Pastoral Centre Library collects books, audio CDs and DVDs on, among other things:

  • spirituality
  • prayer
  • parish government and activities
  • the liturgical year
  • sacraments
  • family life
  • catechetics
  • social justice
  • saints

Our resources are suitable for individuals and groups. You can search our catalogue online.

Library Services

Loans

Most of the booksand audio/visual materials in our collection can be borrowed. Although our periodicals remain in the Library, we can copy articles for you or your group once we have cleared copyright requirements.

  • Books are normally checked out for 28 days
  • Videos and DVDs for 7 days
Shorter loan periods may apply for popular items. If there are special circumstances these will be taken into account. Items may be renewed by telephone, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or in person if not on hold for someone else.

Membership

To join the library you will need to fill out an application form and show a piece of photo ID. There is no cost to join if you are a parishioner within the Diocese. If an item is lost or damaged while in your care we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of replacement.
